Advertising on the Brightline: Florida’s Luxury High-Speed Rail

March 21, 2024

Traveling between Miami and Orlando has not always been fun. Your choices used to be limited to three desolate hours driving down Florida’s Turnpike, or an hour-long flight that winds up taking the same three hours when you add in all the airport rigamarole.

So last fall when the Brightline began service between the two biggest and most beloved destinations in the state, those luxurious high-speed trains were a sight for sore eyes, with the added service increasing total ridership from approximately 150,000 to 237,000 (SOURCE: Brightline). But it isn’t just the trains those eyes are seeing: they’re also seeing our digital out of home screens!

Advertising on the Brightline gives brands and local businesses direct access to affluent Floridians, with 65% of the system’s ridership earning over $100,000 HHI annually and 46% owning homes worth at least $400,000 (SOURCE: Integrated Insights). Those riders tend to be health-conscious and interested in entertainment, business, and luxury brands.

It’s no wonder the Brightline is a great way to reach luxury consumers – after all, it is a luxury experience, with airport-style lounges inside each station as well as premium food and beverage service onboard. Between Miami and Orlando, the trains also stop at Aventura, Fort Lauderdale, Boca Raton, and West Palm Beach.

Brightline advertisers can purchase the entire network or target individual stations. Our Activate Package allows advertisers to secure 5-, 10- or 15-second chunks of time on a selection of digital out of home screens throughout the Miami Central, Fort Lauderdale, or West Palm Beach stations.

For brands who want to think bigger, we offer the Dominate Package, which places a 15-second ad on every single screen in the station at the same time, creating a synchronized saturation that immerses riders in the message.

With either package advertisers can impact consumers attending Orlando events like Electric Daisy Carnival or Halloween Horror Nights, or those in Miami such as Art Basel, South Beach Wine & Food, and the Fort Lauderdale Boat Show.

The Brightline even gets into the sporting spirit with “Buzzer Beater” trains decked out for Miami Heat home games and “GOOOL GETTER” trains complete with complimentary shuttles from the Fort Lauderdale to Chase Stadium for Miami Inter matches.
