OUTFRONT Media is committed to being an environmentally responsible company. This objective is achieved by developing and continuously improving sustainable business practices. Whenever possible, we source materials/products that support this approach. We recycle/re-purpose our used materials to extend their useful life cycle where feasible/practical. Where necessary, we dispose of waste in a manner this is compliant with all applicable federal/state/local regulations. We are always looking for opportunities to improve energy efficiency and ultimately reduce our carbon footprint.

Specific initiatives:
  • Polyethylene (PE) based copy- used PE product is recycled by first being shredded, then blended and finally densified into small pellets which then become feedstock (raw materials) for the production of secondary molded/extruded products such as landscaping materials (lawn edging), railroad ties, and limited custo​m blending for thin sheet/film products. For calendar year 2014 we recycled approximately 647,864 pounds of PE copy.

  • Polyvinylchloride (PVC) based copy - used PVC product is re-purposed most often for secondary application as coverings/tarpings.  There is an on-going campaign by both the company (OUTFRONT Media) and industry (OAAA) to reduce/eliminate the use of PVC materials. For calendar year 2014 we re-purposed approximately 1,341,051 pounds of PVC copy.

  • LED lighting – OUTFRONT Media​ initiated a campaign several years ago to replace existing light fixtures (metal halide, fluorescent) on our displays with energy-efficient LED units.  These LED replacements offer quality illumination, long life and reduced power consumption by 70%.

Vendor is the name in which Outfront Media Inc. operates in Mexico. Operating for almost 70 years in Mexico, Vendor is the largest and most experienced outdoor advertising company in the country. We sell over 9,000 billboards and more than 500 bus routes covering the top 350 cities in Mexico.


Outfront Media Inc. has a strong presence in the outdoor business market, holding a wide range of structures in Capital Federal, Gran Buenos Aires and major cities such as Córdoba, Mar del Plata, Mendoza, Rosario, and Tucumán.


Outfront Media Inc. is present in the states of Rio Grande do Sul, Paraná, Belo Horizonte and São Palo where the headquarters is located. With presence in more than 40 counties in the South and Southeast regions, Outfront Media Inc. operates more than 800 billboards throughout Brazil.

Chile provides an alternative service in the market, encouraging synergy among business units, giving our customers an effective and efficient way to contact and impact their target audience. Our inventory covers about 75% of the metropolitan region and offers presence in more than 3,000 locations nationwide.

Our potential is evident through coverage provided by our three business divisions: Street Furniture, Billboards & Buses.
